The third Coral Cup Antalya Yacht Race, sponsored by Coral Travel, showcased the intense competition among sailors this year. The event, held in the Antalya Bay with 27 yachts competing in four different categories, brought together enthusiasts of water sports.

Coral Travel Turkey General Manager Mehmet Kamçı highlighted the importance of the race, stating, "The continuous interest in the Coral Cup, which we have turned into a tradition in Antalya, which has hosted millions of tourists, strengthens our new goals each year."

Unlike previous years, this year's races were organized in two stages. The first stage started on Saturday, May 16, from Kemer, and the second stage began on Sunday, May 17, from Antalya. The races' start was given by Kemer Mayor Necati Topaloğlu and Kemer District Governor Ahmet Solmaz. The Coral Cup, which is part of the Turkish Sailing Federation's program, saw the following winners in 2026:

  • A category: Ahmet Us and his team with the yacht "Sasuke"
  • B category: Halil Serdar Değerli and his team with the yacht "Moana"
  • C Support category: Burak Akpınar and his team with the yacht "Ayzek"
  • DSport category: Orhan Yeşilli and his team with the yacht "Mytos"

The category winners received accommodation at the Seven Seas Hotel Life in Kemer, Antalya. Speaking at the award ceremony held at Setur Marina Antalya on the evening of May 17, Kamçı emphasized Antalya's strategic importance for the company, saying:

"Antalya is at the heart of Coral Travel Group's international success story. As a company that has hosted millions of tourists in Antalya, we see contributing to Antalya's social, cultural, and sporting life as a responsibility. The Coral Cup is a reflection of this approach. The continuous interest in the races, which we aim to turn into a tradition, shows that we are on the right path and motivates us to set bigger goals for the future. This year, we increased the number of stages in the Coral Cup races to two. We plan to increase this number next year and develop it to cover Antalya and its surroundings. Our goal is to expand the Coral Cup to a level where professional racing teams can participate."

Tayfun Yalçınkaya, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Antalya Sailing Sports Club, noted the growing impact of the organization each year, saying:

"The Coral Cup has quickly become a significant event in Antalya's sailing calendar. This year's intense interest and new two-stage format have shown the potential for the organization to grow. We believe that in the coming years, this race, which combines Antalya's natural beauty and maritime culture with sailing sports, will develop into an even larger structure with greater participation. We thank our main sponsor Coral Travel, Setur Marina, G Marina, the competitors, and all those involved for their contributions. We believe the Coral <strong>Coral Cup will position Antalya as a stronger point in the national and international sailing community."
