Singer Dara has secured her place in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest, which will take place on Saturday. She was among the top ten performers from the second semi-final, and her name was the first announced by the contest hosts as qualifying for the final. Dara took the stage first with her song "Bangaranga," immediately energizing the audience.

The points for contestants are equally divided between national juries and public votes. Voting began immediately after all performances on the evening of the semi-final, starting at 11:35 PM local time, and continued for 15 minutes.

Other performers in the second semi-final included artists from Azerbaijan, Romania, Luxembourg, the Czech Republic, Armenia, Switzerland, Cyprus, Latvia, Denmark, Australia, Ukraine, Albania, Malta, and Norway. The automatic finalists from Austria, the United Kingdom, and France also took the stage.

The final on May 16 will feature ten countries, including Bulgaria, Ukraine, Norway, Australia, Romania, Malta, Cyprus, Albania, Denmark, and the Czech Republic. Christian Kostov will perform as a guest, having placed Bulgaria second in the competition in 2017. The final will also see performers from Finland, Greece, Moldova, Belgium, Sweden, Israel, Serbia, Croatia, Lithuania, and Poland, who qualified from the first semi-final.

This year marks the 70th Eurovision Song Contest, with the theme "United by Music" and the event hosted by Vienna, Austria.
