Dara, Bulgaria's representative in Eurovision, took the stage first in the second semi-final with her song "Bangaranga" and electrified the entire audience. The points for the contestants in the competition are split between the national juries and the viewers. Voting begins immediately after all the performances on the night.

The entire day was filled with support from various influential figures in Bulgaria—politicians, actors, singers, and athletes—expressing their backing for Dara. President Rumen Radev wrote, "Tonight at 22:00, our massive support and energy will be with Dara on the Eurovision stage! We believe in your success, dear girl! You have already taken first place in the hearts of all Bulgarians! You will conquer all of Europe. You also have the strong support of our compatriots abroad who will vote for you."

In the second semi-final, performers from Azerbaijan, Romania, Luxembourg, Czech Republic, Armenia, Switzerland, Cyprus, Latvia, Denmark, Australia, Ukraine, Albania, Malta, and Norway are also participating. Automatic finalists Austria, the United Kingdom, and France will also perform their songs at the event.

The final of Eurovision will take place on Saturday, May 16. Twenty countries will compete in the final—the top 10 from each semi-final, plus the Big Four and the host country, Austria. The Big Four—United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Spain—are always automatically qualified for the final, regardless of their previous results, as they are the founding countries of the competition and provide the largest financial support to the European Broadcasting Union, the organizer of Eurovision.
