Bulgarian tennis stars Ivan Ivanov (last year's world champion for juniors) and Iliyan Radulov have qualified for the main draw of the Sabadell clay court tournament in Spain, which offers a prize fund of $30,000.

Ranked as the top seed in the qualifying round, Ivan Ivanov secured his spot in the main draw by defeating the home player Mateo Alvarez Sarmiento 6-2, 6-3 in the second round. The match lasted 80 minutes.

Ivanov, 17, made two breaks in the first set and took the second with a 4-1 lead, securing his victory. In the first round of the qualifying, Ivanov beat Benjamin Perez Mora (Chile) 6-3, 6-4. His first opponent in the main draw will be the seventh seed, Joaquin Blancano (France).

Iliyan Radulov, ranked fourth in the qualifying, also advanced by defeating Aarun Samson (India) 6-2, 6-2 in the second round, a match that lasted 72 minutes.

The 20-year-old Radulov led 4-0 in both sets and had no trouble securing his decisive victory. In the opening round of the qualifying, Radulov eliminated Marc Ros Messas (Spain) 6-1, 6-2. His first match in the main draw will be against the fifth seed, Robin Bertrand (France).
