The AEK football team secured their 14th Greek championship title after defeating Panathinaikos 2-1 in the 30th round of the national league. The winning goal came in the third minute of injury time, ensuring AEK's lead with just two matches remaining. Olympiakos and PAOK ended in a 1-1 draw, leaving AEK with an insurmountable eight-point lead over their closest rivals.

Panathinaikos scored first in the 63rd minute through Andrew Tetteh, with Zini equalizing for AEK ten minutes later. Joao Mario's goal in the third minute of injury time secured the title for AEK. Domagoj Vida did not play for AEK, while Adriano Jagušić appeared for PAOK from the 79th minute. Tin Jedvaj also did not play for PAOK.

In the other match, Olympiakos and PAOK tied 1-1. Olympiakos took the lead in the 61st minute through Rodinei, with Giannis Konstantelias equalizing for PAOK eight minutes later. Luka Ivanušec played for PAOK until the 63rd minute, and Dejan Lovren was absent due to injury.

With two matches left, AEK leads the league with 70 points, followed by PAOK and Olympiakos with 62 points each, and fourth-place Panathinaikos with 51 points. This is AEK's 14th league title and their second in the last four years. Olympiakos holds the record with 48 titles, while Panathinaikos has won the championship 20 times.
