Bulgarian athlete Bozidar Sarabyukov will compete in the first Diamond League event of 2026 in Shanghai this Saturday. The competition, which will feature some of the world's top long jump athletes, is scheduled to start at 12:00 local time. A1 and MAX Sport have generously provided the broadcasting rights to bTV, allowing viewers to watch the event live on both MAX Sport 1 and bTV.

At just 21 years old, Sarabyukov has already established himself as one of the strongest names in European athletics. He is the European indoor champion and set a new national record in the long jump with a distance of 8.45 meters in February 2026, the best result of the season at that time. Sarabyukov will face off against some of the biggest names in the world of long jump, including Matija Furlan, Wayne Pine, and Tajay Gayle, in Shanghai.

The Diamond League events gather the world's best athletes and are among the most prestigious events in track and field. A1 and MAX Sport’s decision to donate the broadcast rights aims to support Bulgarian sports fans who want to follow the live performance of one of the most promising Bulgarian athletes and a source of national pride on the world stage.

MAX Sport's rich sports portfolio includes some of the most prestigious international sporting events and tournaments, such as UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Conference League, Spanish La Liga, Italian Serie A, and leading track and field, volleyball, and motorsports events.
