Zvezdan Mitrović, the coach of Cedevita Olimpija, has reiterated his criticism of match officiating after the third game against Red Star Belgrade in the ABA League quarterfinals. Mitrović, through the official club website, called the game a "defeat for sport." Red Star responded with a statement titled "Why is Our Well-Deserved Victory a Defeat for Sport?"
The controversy continues, with Mitrović addressing the issue again in a conversation with Sport Klub Slovenija.
"I won't prolong this story. I said what everyone knows and what was obvious. I don't want to return to this topic. Message after message. These foolishnesses don't interest me, but I stand by my words," Mitrović stated.
Mitrović emphasized that his team has pulled the maximum out of this ABA League and European season.
"We've had many issues with injuries. We can still be proud. Even today, the quarterfinal Eurocup match against Burg hurts. One point. It could have turned the other way. That's how titles are won. Still, I say that Burg deserved its final triumph," Mitrović added.

I can't stand this kind of controversy ruining the beautiful game. We should focus on the players and the sport, not these pointless arguments. What do you think fans, is this just a coach venting or something more serious?
