The Dalmatian city of Zadar is gearing up to host a prestigious FIBA 3x3 World Tour tournament from Friday, May 15th, to Saturday, May 16th, with a slogan that proudly states, "God created man, but Zadar created basketball."

The competition will feature 14 teams from around the globe, including one Croatian team, with a prize fund of €150,000. The entire event is free for visitors, although the number of seats is limited.

The tournament kicks off on Friday at 11 a.m. with qualifying matches and free-throw competitions, followed by the group stage at 2:15 p.m., which continues into the evening. On Saturday, the event starts with an exhibition match featuring well-known players such as Marko Šapić, Kruna Simon, Mihovil Fantela, Luke Žorić, Hrvoje Vejić, Marko Popović, Vladimir Balić, Dragan Vuković, and Marko Thomas.

The semifinals and finals will be held from 5:05 p.m. to 6:35 p.m. on Saturday, followed by a Dunking Devils show and the conclusion of the free-throw competition. After 8 p.m., there will be a large concert at Zadar's Forum, featuring Baby Lasagna, Vojko V, and TBF.

The event will take place at the location of "Pozdrav Suncu." In case of bad weather, the Saturday program will be moved to Sports Center Višnjik.
