Yıldırım Details Fenerbahçe's Future Plans

Fenerbahçe presidential candidate Aziz Yıldırım shared detailed plans for the club, including a new stadium and management structure.

Fenerbahçe Spor Kulübü's presidential candidate Aziz Yıldırım is continuing his election campaign ahead of the Extraordinary General Assembly Meeting scheduled for June 6-7. Yıldırım will introduce his management committee at a press conference on Friday, May 22.

The committee, which Yıldırım has gathered, includes members of the Football Co. and the board of directors. This group aims to leave its mark on Fenerbahçe for the next 20 years. The model Yıldırım envisions is planned to mirror the sustainable sporting success seen from 2001 to 2011.

Yıldırım, along with an advisory committee of former players, has planned transfers for two central defenders and other positions deemed necessary. The appointment of a technical director will be decided by the board of directors, aligned with the team they aim to construct.

Yıldirim emphasized their goal of building a permanent and institutional club structure. "We will win championships and celebrate together. I am a candidate because Fenerbahçe needs me. If we are together, there's nothing we cannot achieve. We will resolve financial issues. During my presidency, we never let money speak; we created resources, and we will do the same again. We will implement projects that attract more sponsor support and create more financial resources. We will stand by Fenerbahçe together. Fenerbahçe does not lack owners because you are its owners. We are forming a board with valuable people. The boards we formed after 1998 saw the emergence of club presidents, federation presidents, and parliamentary leaders. Our new board will leave its mark on the next 10 years. We will form a strong board with important names, and our football brains will consist of players who know Fenerbahçe. While competing for success, we will also implement economic projects. After obtaining the necessary permits, we will start work on our stadium with a capacity of 60-65 thousand. We aim to build a permanent and institutional club structure. We will create an organization that generates information and contributes to the club. Until July 3, 2011, everything was as we desired, but unfortunately, many things were ruined after that."
