Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has announced that Belgrade will host the final of the Europa League in two years, estimating that the event will make the city a center of European attention once more and provide a new boost to the development of domestic football.
Vučić highlighted that the sporting spectacle is of great personal significance, primarily because it will be played on the newly built National Stadium.
- Why is it personally important to me? First, because our football is at very low levels, especially the representative level, for decades. I believe this will be a new energy for some young players and talented individuals, giving them the opportunity to progress and compete with the world's best nations. This is a big deal - declared the president, announcing the spectacle that awaits us.
- Apart from all the incidents and foolishness we've had, you've had the chance to see a magnificent stadium that looks like those in the most developed countries in the world. In two years, we will be watching the Europa League final at this stadium. Visitors from all over Europe will come, and Belgrade will once again be the center of Europe.

This is huge for Serbian football! Vučić's enthusiasm is infectious, and I can't wait for the energy this will bring to the region. Will it be the turning point for Serbian football? Only time will tell, but I'm excited to see what unfolds.
