Valencia secured their place in the Final Four of the EuroLeague with a decisive 81-64 victory over Panathinaikos in the fifth and final game of their playoff series. The Spanish team had to overcome a tough start, losing the first two home games, but bounced back by winning two in Athens and now sealing the deal on their home court.

In the first half, Valencia led by as much as 17 points, but Panathinaikos managed to narrow the gap with a series of three-pointers. However, Valencia regained control and extended their lead to a double-digit margin six minutes before the end, ensuring a celebratory atmosphere.

Brancou Badio led Valencia with 20 points and five rebounds, while Jean Montero and Braxton Key each contributed 12 points. Montero also added three assists and five rebounds. For the underperforming Panathinaikos, Nigel Hayes-Davis scored 15 points, and Cedi Osman added 10 points and three rebounds.

The Final Four will take place in Athens from May 22 to 24, with Valencia facing Real Madrid in the semifinals. The other semifinal will see Olympiacos clash with Fenerbahçe.
