Former Red Star Belgrade player Uroš Plavšić continues to impress in the Turkish Second League, leading his team Bordo Sportif to a strong victory over Gazişehir in the first game of the final.
In the first leg of the final, Uroš Plavšić contributed 13 points, seven rebounds, and three assists over 20 minutes on the court. He shot 6-for-8 on two-pointers, 0-for-1 on three-pointers, and 1-for-2 from the free-throw line. His teammate Taj Gordon also stood out with 19 points and five rebounds.
On the other side, two Serbian players were featured in Gazişehir's lineup: Dušan Cantekin with eight points and Nemanja Nenadić with four points and two rebounds.
The game was decided early, with Bordo Sportif dominating the first quarter with a 22-12 lead, followed by another strong second quarter where they scored 25 to Gazişehir's 8, resulting in a 47-20 halftime score.
Gazişehir was only able to limit their losses in the second half.
The series is best-of-three, and the next game will be played the day after tomorrow, again at Bordo Sportif's home court.
