Gabi Balint Praises Craiova's Performance

Gabi Balint, who previously coached Universitatea Craiova in Liga 2, has expressed his admiration for the team's exceptional season. "The team has grown immensely. They've brought in players and organized themselves well. They've won the championship on their merits. Today, they played like lions! Cluj couldn't get anything going, they were nervous from the start. Congratulations to Craiova, they had the best squad and the best performance."

"It's their time to enjoy, we'll see what happens in the European cups. Since I was a player, no one has achieved this feat (he laughs). I was at Burgos back then," Balint declared to Digi Sport.

Universitatea Craiova is the last team Balint coached in his career, from March to June 2014, when the club was known as CS Universitatea Craiova and had a different emblem.
