Unai Emery, the technical director of Aston Villa, has expressed confidence in his team's ability to perform at their best and manage their emotions leading into the UEFA Europa League final. The match will take place on May 20th against Freiburg at the Tüpraş Stadium.

Speaking at a press conference, Emery highlighted the team's journey through the season, noting that despite a difficult start, the players have shown maturity and responsibility. "In one season, everything can happen. We had a tough start for various reasons, but the players' responses in difficult moments were fantastic," Emery said. "We had many meetings, and the players managed to get this situation under control. We matured and acted responsibly, which led us to where we are today."

Emery emphasized the importance of managing emotions and pressure positively, stating, "We still have to build the team. We need to focus on collective tactics and individual aspects. We will have a new experience tomorrow. How we manage our emotions is crucial. We will face pressure, but we need to see it as a positive thing. We will play with confidence."

The final will be Emery's fifth Europa League final as a coach, and he is the most successful manager in the competition's history. Emery added, "We have to react as a team to the moments in the match. Can we succeed, or will we have a more superficial approach?"

He also provided an update on the condition of Amadou Onana, who has been training and will be evaluated for the match. "Onana trained yesterday and will train today. We will see how he feels tomorrow. He is a crucial player for us," Emery said.

Argentinian goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, who has confidence in the team, stated, "In my first Copa America final, I lifted the trophy with Argentina. As an Aston Villa fan, I've never seen Aston Villa lift a trophy in a final. So, I will step onto the field with the same mindset."
