The UEFA Referees Committee has appointed German official Daniel Ziebert to lead the Champions League final between Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal, taking place on May 30, 2026, at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest. The match will kick off at 19:00 Bulgarian time.
At 42 years old, Ziebert has been an international referee since 2015. This will be his first UEFA club competition final. He has officiated nine Champions League matches this season, including the first quarter-final match between Sporting and Arsenal, and the semi-final rematch between Arsenal and Atlético Madrid. Ziebert also refereed the 2025 Europa League semi-final between Manchester United and Athletic Bilbao, and two matches at UEFA EURO 2024 and three at UEFA EURO 2020.
François Letexier of France will oversee the Europa League final between Freiburg and Aston Villa at the Beşiktaş Park in Istanbul on May 20, 2026, starting at 22:00 Bulgarian time. This will be his second final in a UEFA competition, following his role as the referee for the Spain vs. England final at the EURO 2024. He also officiated the UEFA Super Cup match in 2B3 between Manchester City and Sevilla.
Maurizio Mariani from Italy will lead the final of the Conference League between Crystal Palace and Rayo Vallecano at the Red Bull Arena in Leipzig on May 27, 2026, starting at 22:00 Bulgarian time.
