Craiovean get-beget, Tudor Băluţă joined Universitatea Craiova at the age of 26 and achieved a historic title in his first season. Although he won the championship with Farul in 2023, he emphasizes that this performance with his heart team is particularly special.

In a Facebook post, Băluţă described the emotions of winning the title, recounting his career journey, which included ups and downs before he claimed this historic event with Universitatea Craiova.

The Oltenian midfielder has one year left on his contract with the team from Bănie, which he signed last summer. "I have always wanted Tudor Băluţă, he was a member of Peluza Nord, where he grew up," Mihai Rotaru, in multiple statements, declared.

"I was born in Craiova. My childhood was spent in the Rovine neighborhood, where I took my first steps with a ball on the street in front of the block, with friends, and later in the schoolyard where I spent eight years at Tudor Arghezi Theoretical High School. I took my first steps on the stadium with my father. I can't remember exactly at what age, probably around 5-6 years old. What I can't forget is that the first team I saw on the stadium was Universitatea Craiova. From that moment, the white and blue colors became the most beautiful in the world for me," Băluţă wrote on his Facebook page.

This season, Băluţă played in 44 matches for Universitatea Craiova, scoring 2 goals and providing 3 key assists across all competitions.

"My love for Ştiinţa grew day by day, match by match, year by year. I remember listening to our anthem daily until I learned it word by word. Football has taken me to many places over the years, and I have experienced both good and bad times, for which I am grateful because they brought me here, now, winning the Romanian championship title with my Ştiinţa after a 35-year wait, three days after winning the Romanian Cup. Words are not enough to describe the pride and joy of this achievement. I fought, I hoped, and I won with and for my Oltenians. I was a child who maybe never dreamed of such a thing, yet succeeded," Băluţă noted.
