A massive truck accident on the highway from Subotica to Novi Sad near the Vrbas interchange has caused significant traffic jams, stretching for kilometers. The incident occurred early in the morning when a truck overturned, blocking all three lanes and leading to severe congestion. The driver of the truck, a 61-year-old man, sustained minor injuries, including some lacerations on his head and damage to his right ankle. He was quickly transported to the Vrbas Hospital in a conscious state.

Fortunately, there were no serious injuries reported, but the traffic situation has been chaotic. The accident has caused a complete traffic collapse, with vehicles forming kilometer-long lines. Although traffic is slowly starting to resume, significant delays persist. Emergency crews are on the scene, working to clear the accident and remove goods that spilled onto the highway. Police are redirecting traffic to mitigate the impact of the congestion.
