Grand Finale at Italian Ambassador's Residence
The grand finale of the "Tastes of Italy" project was held at the residence of Italian Ambassador Luka Gori in Belgrade. This multi-month initiative aimed to promote Italian products, cuisine, traditions, and culture, organized in collaboration with Domestic Trade Company (Aroma and City Markets) and the Italian Agency for Foreign Trade (ICE).
Events and Partnerships
During the project's duration, consumers in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Pančevo, Sopot, Novi Pazar, and Zlatibor had the opportunity to experience various Italian regions and quality products through tastings, promotions, and specially designed activities. More than 80 hours of promotions were carried out in Aroma and City Markets, along with numerous themed activities inspired by the Italian way of life and gastronomy.
The project also involved a special partnership with the Higher Hotel School, where students prepared Italian specialties to showcase their culinary skills and love for gastronomy, bridging Italian culinary traditions with the next generation of professionals.
Final Event Highlights
The final event brought together diplomatic representatives, media, partners, and Italian company representatives, along with numerous guests who enjoyed authentic Italian flavors. Guests had the chance to taste carefully selected products and specialties prepared live, set against an atmosphere inspired by Italian music, culture, and the Mediterranean spirit.
Ambassador Luka Gori addressed the attendees, emphasizing the significance of such initiatives in strengthening cultural and trade ties between Italy and Serbia, as well as promoting authentic Italian products and traditions.
Special thanks and appreciation were given to the partners and companies that contributed to the project's success through their participation, further connecting Serbia and Italy through trade, gastronomy, and the promotion of Italian product quality.
The goal of the project, as stated by the Domestic Trade Company and the Italian Agency for Foreign Trade, was to bring the authentic spirit of Italy to consumers through taste, tradition, and unique experiences, to introduce new products to the Serbian market, and to highlight the quality and visibility of products with the "Made in Italy" label through carefully planned promotions, consumer education, and strong branding.
The "Tastes of Italy" project not only represents product placement but also an opportunity to bring Italian culinary culture and lifestyle to consumers, making it a place for all consumers seeking uniqueness, and a reliable partner for Italian companies looking to strengthen their presence in the Serbian market.
Following its successful implementation in Serbia, the project will continue its journey in Montenegro over the next three months as part of their group, where they will continue to bring recognizable Italian tastes to customers.
