George Lianos spoke to Super Katerina about the condition of Stavros Floros following the serious accident during the filming of Survivor in St. Dominic. He also discussed the legal proceedings that have since unfolded.

Lianos clarified that he cannot provide detailed information about Floros' medical condition due to doctor-patient confidentiality. "I can't say much about Stavros' medical situation because of confidentiality. All I can say is that the signs are cautiously optimistic," he reported.

"I Got My Therapy by Stavros' Side"

Lianos described his psychological state post-accident. He noted that there was psychological support for the participants, but he felt grounded by staying beside Stavros.

"A person came from Athens to talk to the players. He wanted to talk to me too, but after describing my experience beside Stavros, I told him: 'Doctor, I think I got my therapy by Stavros' side.'"

He added, "The most important thing is Stavros' health. For this, we've put up a fight, and it continues in the hospitals. It's a long fight."

Lianos also touched on the relationship he developed with Floros during these challenging times. "I've had this conversation with Stavros. I told him: 'You know, you could be my son? No one should be in this position.'"

Insights on the Legal Proceedings and the Yacht

Lianos addressed the initial reports that circulated following the accident, stating that many were inaccurate.

"I followed a lot of things. The initial reports were mostly wrong," he said.

Regarding the legal proceedings, he noted, "These matters are now in the hands of justice." He then discussed what emerged in the first hearing.

"From what was revealed in the first preliminary hearing, the state's responsibilities toward the captain of this fateful yacht are that he violated several maritime laws."

Lianos also addressed the issue of the marker buoy: "There was a marker buoy, which requires you to always keep 200 meters away from it."

He added, "What the captain claimed, that he was far enough from the shore, is not valid when there is a marker buoy and you are in a marine park where the rules say you must sail at a maximum of 5 miles."

The broadcast also mentioned that Survivor is expected to conclude, with the contestants gradually returning to Greece, while George Lianos is reportedly planning to travel to Miami to visit Stavos.
