Stoyu Stoev: We Would Have Discouraged People from Voting If We Had Announced the Split of PP-DB Before the Elections

Stoyu Stoev, the vice-president of the National Assembly from the "We Continue the Change" movement, expressed concerns about the effectiveness of the coalition and the impact of the split of the PP-DB (Bulgarian Democratic Party) prior to the elections. Stoev stated that had the coalition announced the split before the elections, it could have deterred voters.

From Radev, Only Words

Stoev emphasized that despite the coalition's plans for reform, particularly the replacement of the High Judicial Council, they have seen only words from President Rumen Radev. He indicated that they will support Radev only if there is a concrete change in the judicial system.

The Truth of Coalition Decision-Making

"The truth is that we had a serious problem with decision-making in the coalition, and everyone understood that," Stoev explained during the BNT broadcast "Speak Now." He highlighted that there was a significant goal for these elections, but the coalition's ability to make decisions was severely compromised.

Stoev's comments reflect the challenges faced by the coalition and the delicate balance required to maintain voter support and implement necessary reforms in Bulgaria.
