Staskova Praises Fenerbahçe's Professionalism Over Galatasaray

Fenerbahçe ArsaVev's Andrea Staskova praises the club's professionalism compared to Galatasaray, highlighting the support she received from teammates and staff.

Andrea Staskova, the 26-year-old Czech forward for Fenerbahçe ArsaVev, spoke to Demirören Haber Ajansı (DHA) about her experiences at the club. Staskova, who transferred to Fenerbahçe, praised the club's professionalism and the support she received from her teammates, emphasizing that this contributed significantly to their championship victory. "It was a challenging season for us. When I first joined the team, there were things I had to get used to, but I managed them very well. We've had great training sessions up to now, and the entire team provided me with tremendous support. Everyone in the team tried to help me, and I take pride in that. We achieved the result of our efforts. I am very satisfied with everything that has happened so far. We have acted as a team and finally won the championship. Our dreams have come true," she said.

'THIS YEAR I MANAGED TO SCORE A LOT OF GOALS'

The 26-year-old player expressed her satisfaction with her performance this season. "Last year I didn't score many goals, but this year I managed to score a lot. My teammates here have been extremely helpful, and we won the championship. I take great pride in both myself and all my teammates. We achieved a great result. My coach has also been very supportive. From the very first day, he has placed a lot of trust in me," she stated.

'I AM VERY HAPPY TO BE HERE'

Staskova expressed her joy at being at Fenerbahçe. "My journey has been very long. Before coming to Turkey, I traveled a lot. Kemal Bey, who first contacted me, helped me a lot and gave me the opportunity to play here. After arriving, I made great efforts in my preparations and work. I am truly very happy to be here."

'FROM THE MOMENT I ARRIVED, I FELT LIKE AT HOME'

Staskova highlighted the differences between her former club Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe. "I can say that Fenerbahçe is a bit more professional than Galatasaray. I have felt this since I arrived. Before coming to Galatasaray, I knew it would be a bit confusing. When I arrived at Galatasaray, we did not have a translator. In the beginning, I found it a bit difficult. It was a challenge for me, but I managed it. However, when we started our preparations here, there was a difference; there were three different translators here. They always helped us. My teammates, the girls, always wanted to help me. When I arrived, they tried to speak English with me. From the moment I arrived, I felt like at home."

'PLAYING IN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE IS A DREAM AND IT WILL COME TRUE'

Staskova shared her excitement about Fenerbahçe's participation in the Champions League qualifiers next season. "I am eagerly looking forward to playing in the Champions League. It is a very important thing for us. Fenerbahçe has a history in the Champions League."
