Sorana Cîrstea recently opened up about her plans to retire from professional tennis after the 2026 season, revealing that her final decision is not yet set in stone. In an interview with PRO TV and Sport.ro, the Romanian tennis star shared that while she has announced her retirement at the end of the current season, she is not entirely certain about it.

“I’ve left a door open. We’ll see. I’m trying to enjoy every week. At the end of the year, I’ll see how the year has gone, including my personal life, and make a decision,” Cîrstea emphasized in an exclusive interview with PRO TV and Sport.ro.
