She started strong with clear victories and then eliminated world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka in a dramatic third-round match, winning 2-6, 6-3, 7-5. She continued her solid performance by defeating Jelena Ostapenko 6-1, 7-6 in the quarterfinals.
