Arne Slot has refused to confirm whether Mohamed Salah will play a part at Anfield on Sunday, in what would be his last appearance for Liverpool.

Salah's Final Game and Criticism

In a social media post last weekend, Salah called for Liverpool to change their style of play, which came across as an indirect attack on Slot's management. The 33-year-old, who has been with the club for nine years, will leave this summer. Salah was left out of a Champions League game against Inter Milan earlier this season after stating in an interview that his relationship with Slot had broken down.

Slot's Response and Team Preparation

When asked about Salah's involvement against Brentford, Slot said, "I never say anything about team selection." Liverpool need a point to confirm Champions League qualification. Slot expressed disappointment after the loss to Villa, which would have given them qualification. He emphasized that the goal now is to secure the Champions League spot and prepare the team, including Salah, for the game.

"We both want what's best for the club, and that's the main aim," Slot added. "I have to find a way to evolve this team now and definitely in the summer and in the upcoming season to be successful again and play a brand of football that I like."
