Serbian tennis player Elena Milovanović has won the ITF tournament in Monastir, Tunisia, defeating American competitor Kerolin Ansari 6-1, 7-5 in the final, a match that lasted just over an hour. This is the fourth time Milovanović has won an ITF tournament, with Monastir being a particularly fortunate venue, as she has won there three times before.

Milovanović, now 25 years old, has been ranked among the top 500 players in the world. Her current goal is to return to that rank, and with this victory, she has climbed to the 619th position on the WTA ranking list.

Born in Kraljevo, Milovanović began playing tennis in Čačak at the age of eight. She has represented Serbia in four Billie Jean King Cup tournaments. Her performance against Kerolin Ansari, ranked 290th in the world, further demonstrates her skill, as Ansari is nearly 350 places ahead of Milovanović in the rankings.

Milovanović's path to the trophy was challenging, as she faced seeded players in every round except the first. She eliminated the second, seventh, fourth, and third seeds, making her victory all the more deserved.
