Serbian tennis player Dušan Lajović was eliminated in the first round of Roland Garros qualifiers after being defeated by Austrian Jurij Radionov, with a score of 2-0 (6-2, 7-5).

Lajović, currently ranked 136th in the ATP rankings, was expected to be favored against the 158th-ranked Radionov. However, the match on court revealed a different story. Radionov celebrated after over an hour of play, outplaying Lajović in key moments of the match.

The first set was dominated entirely by Radionov. Lajović lost his serve immediately, giving Radionov confidence. Dušan appeared disoriented, and a new break in the seventh game shifted the momentum further in Radionov's favor. He won the set 6-2 without much difficulty.

The second set brought more excitement and hope for Serbian supporters, but ultimately resulted in disappointment. Lajović played much more aggressively, took Radionov's serve, and led convincingly with a score of 4-1. It seemed they would be heading into a decisive third set, but Lajović’s form dropped sharply.

Radionov managed to break back, equalizing at 4-4. The drama intensified towards the end. At 5-5, Lajović stumbled on his serve again, allowing Radionov to make a crucial break. Radionov then confidently served out for a 7-5 victory, securing a big win.
