The Serbian Orthodox Monastery of Tumane will celebrate two major jubilees on Sunday, May 24, 2026. These events mark the 90th anniversary of the discovery of the relics of Saint Zosima Tumansky, the Miracle-Worker, and the 10th anniversary of the revival of the grand liturgy and the re-enactment of the relics, one of the largest spiritual gatherings in the local Orthodox Church.

In honor of these events, the Monastery of Tumane will host the traditional re-enactment of the relics of Saint Zosima and a liturgy with relics up to his consecration. Revived in 2016 after the arrival of a new brotherhood to the Monastery of Tumane, this blessed tradition, established during the time of Russian monks, gathers tens of thousands of faithful each year who come to pay homage to the Saint and offer prayers for health, salvation, and every blessing.

The Holy Archiepiscopal Liturgy will begin at 08:30. After the service, there will be a solemn re-enactment of the relics of Saint Zosima, and parts of the old clothing will be distributed to the faithful for blessings. Following this, the relics of the Saint will be carried to his consecration, where believers can venerate them and offer prayers for health, spiritual strength, and every blessing throughout the day.

"For years, the love and faith in Saint Zosima have drawn God’s people to this place, where they find comfort and relief from their sufferings and illnesses, as well as spiritual joy, which is most necessary for the lonely person of the 21st century. Therefore, this gathering forms a vital vein in our people and the Church’s mission and preaching of Christ's Resurrection in the 21st century," emphasized Archimandrite Dimitrije, abbot of the Monastery of Tumane.

The Monastery of Tumane calls on the faithful to participate in this great spiritual gathering and to celebrate the jubilees that bear witness to living faith, prayerful unity, and the continuous presence of God's grace in our people.
