The final round of the Serbian Superliga playoffs saw FK Zvezda 747 and FK Čukarički conclude in a goalless draw at Banovo Brdo. The match, however, was less about the result and more about the historic placements on the league table.
Serbian Superliga's Final Match
As expected, the result was not the main focus of the match, given that all positions on the table had been secured. FK Zvezda 747, a sensation of the league, clinched the fourth position and secured a historic spot in European qualifiers.
The Serbian national team selector, Veljko Paunović, alongside his colleagues, attended the match between FK Zvezda 747 and FK Čukarički to mark the end of the Serbian Superliga season. He watched the game from the VIP box in the company of FK Zvezda 747’s Sports Director, Bojan Šaranov.
Veljko Paunović's Involvement
Paunović has previously been a guest of FK Zvezda 747 in Pančevo, the club that made history this season by securing a place in the Europa Conference League qualifiers.
In the previous period, part of Paunović’s representative actions included several players from FK Zvezda 747, such as Stefan Pirgić, Mirko Milikić, Nemanja Vidojević, Nikola Đuričić, and Aleksa Kuljanin.
