This year, the Serbian group "Lavina" is representing their country at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Kraj mene." They have successfully made it to the finals and will perform as number 9. Joining them in the grand final is Dara, representing Bulgaria with the song "Bangaranga." Interestingly, Dara's costume for one of her performances was designed by Marija, the girlfriend of Lavina's lead singer, Luke Aranđelović.

Marija, who has been in a relationship with Luke for some time, shared on TikTok the story of how her creativity crossed national borders. She was engaged in a specific task: hand-painting a dress that Dara wore for one of her musical spots. This collaboration between artists from different Balkan countries has excited Eurovision fans, showing that they support and work together even before meeting on the Eurovision stage.

Marija documented part of the creative process of this unique piece in her posts. As someone who works in visual arts, she highlighted that working on the costume for the Bulgarian singer was both a challenge and an honor. Dara, known as one of the most modern pop stars in Bulgaria, is famous for her eccentric style, which perfectly incorporated the hand-painted dress by the Serbian artist.

Luka Teaches Music in Bujanovac

Luka Aranđelović, the lead singer of "Lavina," teaches music in Bujanovac. His students surprised him with a celebration after his victory at "Song for Eurovision." Luka explained his daily commute to Bujanovac simply and sincerely: "After finishing university, I did not have a job. The opportunity to go there presented itself, and I took it."

"I work in a music school in Bujanovac, teaching children classical guitar. Teaching kids is both difficult and enjoyable. I have a side of me that loves to pass on knowledge and can't say I don't enjoy this profession. My job is to inspire talent in children, sometimes I succeed, and sometimes I don't."
