Serbia's U-17 (Kadet) national team has discovered the names of their rivals in the group stage of the FIFA U-17 World Cup, which will take place in Qatar from November 19 to December 13, 2026. By the luck of the draw, held in FIFA's offices in Zurich, Serbia finds itself in Group L alongside the teams of Japan, Colombia, and Honduras.
The draw was led by FIFA's Director of Youth Competitions, Roberto Grasi, with the assistance of Portuguese football legend Nuno Gomes and 1993 U-17 World Cup champion, Celestin Babajara, who pulled the ball with Serbia's name, notably the last one in the draw.
A total of 48 participating national teams have been distributed into 12 groups with four teams each. The top two teams from each group, along with the eight best third-placed teams, will advance to the Round of 16. From this stage, the tournament will follow a knockout system.
