The water, the bike, the run, the glory. At the Srebrno Lake triathlon, legends were forged. For the seventh consecutive year, the waters of Veliko Gradište hosted the "11TRI Srebrno Lake Triathlon 2026," and the results were nothing short of spectacular. Two hundred and forty-three athletes from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, and across the region descended upon the venue, ready to battle for supremacy.

Ristić Dominates the Men's Race

In the men's absolute category, Ristić didn't just win; he conquered. Clocking in at two hours and 23 seconds, he secured the gold with authority. Nikola Đorđević took the silver, finishing just one minute and 49 seconds behind, while Vladimir Danko claimed bronze with a deficit of two minutes and 12 seconds. The Olympic distance—1.5km swim, 40km bike, 10km run—proved too much for most, but Ristić showed why he belongs on the podium.

Gavrilović Leads the Women's Charge

On the women's side, Lana Gavrilović ruled the day. She crossed the finish line in two hours, five minutes, and 45 seconds to take home the gold medal. Natalija Šešlija secured silver with a gap of six minutes and 45 seconds, while Nataša Dojčinović completed the podium with bronze. The intensity was palpable as these athletes pushed their limits over the grueling Olympic course.

Teamwork also shone brightly. The "Ura!" team dominated the standard relay category with a time of two hours, 10 minutes, and 32 seconds. In the corporate relay, "Mišelin Srbija Cross Climate" proved their endurance, winning with a result of two hours, 13 minutes, and 54 seconds. Beyond the elite races, sprint triathlon, mini triathlon for pioneers, and super sprint for cadets kept the energy high for all participants.

Draagan Milić, President of the Veliko Gradište Municipality, highlighted the record-breaking participation this year. "This confirms that the event is growing year by year," he stated. "The municipality will continue to support such events, as we want this tradition to last and develop in the coming years." Dušan Banović, President of the Veliko Gradište Sports Association, added that Srebrno Lake has become a recognizable destination for domestic and regional triathlon. "Seven years of continuous work have made Srebrno Lake a synonym for quality organization," Banović said, thanking all participants and partners.
