Laurențiu Reghecampf, who recently won the championship in Rwanda with Al-Hilal Omdurman, has made a heartfelt declaration to FCSB. Speculation had him on Gigi Becali's shortlist to replace the technical bench at FCSB after Mirel Rădoi's departure, but Becali ultimately chose Marius Baciu, a former FCSB captain.
Reghecampf has admitted to making a mistake when he left FCSB to join Universitatea Craiova, stating that he has learned from that experience. He vows that, apart from FCSB, he will not coach any other team in Romania again.
“I made a mistake once, but I learned from it. There is no other team in Romanian football that I would want to coach. If the opportunity arises, I would always coach out of love,” Reghecampf told DigiSport.
Reghecampf's declaration is a powerful statement of loyalty to FCSB. But will Becali and the club listen, or is it too little, too late? This fan's heart is with FCSB, but the head wonders if they'll ever give Reghecampf another chance. What do you think?
