England's Red Roses secured a record-extending eighth Women's Six Nations title in a row, performing brilliantly to beat France 43-28 in Sunday's Grand Slam decider in Bordeaux.
In the first half, France had the better play and scored through scrum-half Pauline Bourdon Sansus. However, England responded with four tries before halftime: Sarah Bern, Ellie Kildunne (twice), and Jess Breach. France narrowed the score to 29-21 with tries from Anais Grando and Bourdon Sansus, but Breach scored again for the Red Roses, ensuring England's dominance.
England fly-half Zoe Harrison also performed magnificently, adding four conversions and a penalty, two of which came from the touchline. France's response was stifled when Alexandra Chambon was sin-binned for a high tackle. This allowed England to score again through hooker Amy Cokayne, securing their 38th consecutive Test victory.
