Austrian expert Danijel Bajhler is no longer the coach of Red Bull Salzburg, as announced on Monday. Bajhler (37) was coach of Salzburg from February 18 and during this time, he recorded four wins, three draws, and seven losses.
"Unfortunately, the period during which Danijel Bajhler was coach did not go as we had hoped. We know he took over the team in a difficult situation and tried to turn things around. Ultimately, neither the results nor the team's performance met our expectations, which led to this decision. We want to enter the new season with a completely new sports department, which is why we made this decision quickly but after careful consideration and analysis. We thank Danijel Bajhler and Zlatko Junuzovic for their dedication and wish them all the best in the future," said Salzburg's sporting director Markus Man.
Salzburg ended the season in third place in the Austrian league and has failed to secure a trophy for the third consecutive year.
It's worth noting that Serbian defender Aleksa Terzic, who will not participate in the Champions League qualifiers, is on Red Star Belgrade's radar for the upcoming season.

Red Bull Salzburg's decision to end their collaboration with Danijel Bajhler was inevitable after such poor results. But what about Aleksa Terzic? Does he have what it takes to shine in the new environment at Red Star Belgrade?
