Raul Opruț has extended his contract with Dinamo București until 2029, securing his future with the club for the next five years. The 28-year-old left-back, who joined the team on loan from KV Kortrijk in 2024 and was subsequently signed permanently, will now earn €15,000 per month, a significant increase from his current salary of €13,000. His earnings will further rise to €16,000 per month starting in the 2027-2028 season.

The new contract also includes a buyout clause of €1.2 million, which is a standard feature in contract extensions and ensures that any club interested in signing Opruț can do so without negotiating with Dinamo. Additionally, Opruț will receive bonuses for goals and assists, which could potentially add to his earnings.

The extension comes amid efforts by Dinamo to avoid the situation faced by other clubs with players nearing the end of their contracts. Opruț has been an integral part of the team, appearing in 81 matches since his arrival, scoring seven goals and providing three assists. His strong performance has made him a key player for the club and a regular with the national team.

Dinamo's official statement expressed their satisfaction with Opruț's commitment and their belief that the best is yet to come for the player. The club emphasized Opruț's devotion, hard work, and passion as qualities that have endeared him to the fans.
