Romanian defender Radu Drăgușin's future at Tottenham remains uncertain as the summer transfer window approaches. At 24 years old, Drăgușin had a challenging season in London, and his name has once again been linked with a potential move to the Bundesliga. RB Leipzig has been mentioned in recent days, particularly after the player's agent, Florin Manea, was spotted at a match of the German club.

Agent Clarifies the Situation

However, Manea has clarified the situation, stating that his visit was not related to a transfer for Drăgușin. "Nothing new has happened with Radu. We are waiting for the season to end and then we will see," Manea told Digi Sport. "I was at the Leipzig match, but it wasn't about Radu. I have no agreement for any transfer."

Manea explained that he had been in Berlin for other reasons and then attended the Leipzig match. He mentioned that he has a good relationship with Leipzig officials but there are no current concrete offers for the Romanian defender.

Past and Present Challenges

Drăgușin joined Tottenham in January 2024 and is currently valued at 20 million euros. The 2025/2026 season was difficult for the Romanian defender, who made only 10 appearances across all competitions. A serious injury to his cruciate ligaments significantly affected his season and kept him out of action for a considerable portion of the campaign.

For now, any discussions about a potential departure are on hold until the end of the Premier League season. Tottenham has one more match to play on Sunday, May 24, 2026, against Everton at home. Manea has stated that the first step will be a discussion with Tottenham officials, who need to decide whether to keep Drăgușin or set a transfer fee for him.

"We will see what Tottenham wants, what price they will set for Radu. First, I will speak with them, and if we need to move, then we will move," Manea concluded.
