The Honorable Pojaz Presvete Bogorodice, accompanied by the revered Archimandrite Jefrem, abbot of the Vatoped Monastery, arrived at the Church of the Resurrection in Belgrade. This event was marked by Jovana Jeremić, who shared a photograph and expressed her gratitude to the Mother of God.
The Return of the Pojaz
The Pojaz Presvete Bogorodice has not been seen in Belgrade for almost 650 years. Its arrival just before the Feast of the Ascension was a momentous occasion, drawing thousands of believers to the Church of the Resurrection. Jovana Jeremić shared an image from the ceremonial welcome, expressing her thanks and love to the Mother of God.
Jeremić's Message of Gratitude
"The Honorable Pojaz Presvete Bogorodice. Mother of God, Great Lady, the work belongs to me, but to you and God be glory and success. Thank you for all the gifts in this life. Thank you for hearing my voice. I love you," wrote Jeremić, quoting parts of a prayer. She also emphasized the event's massive attendance, adding, "Today, a river of good people will flow through Belgrade."
Jeremić has previously spoken of her deep devotion to her faith and her belief in St. Basil as her protector. She has expressed her wish to name any future son Vasilije and a daughter Vasilisa.
