On the final official 1000cc MotoGP test held at the Catalunya circuit near Barcelona, KTM rider Pedro Acosta took the top spot. The test was scheduled to run until 19:00 local time, but an unexpected rain shower that began during the lunch break effectively ended the afternoon session. No riders appeared on the track, and teams began to report that the test was over for them.

In the morning, Acosta managed to lap the track in 1:38.767, edging out Fabio Quartararo by 0.064 seconds. Tech3 KTM teammates Enea Bastianini and Maverick Viñales finished third and fourth, lagging behind Acosta by 0.117 and 0.190 seconds, respectively.

The most active rider during the test was Toprak Razgatlioglu with Pramac Yamaha, completing 45 laps around the Catalunya circuit. Other riders like Viñales, Franco Morbidelli, Diogo Moreira, Marco Bezzecchi, and Luca Marini also completed at least 40 laps. Bezzecchi and Viñales completed exactly 40 laps, while Marini, Morbidelli, and Moreira finished with 41.
