With only one match left in the Serbia Superliga season, the standings are clear. Partizan will end the season in third place, which is not a significant achievement for the Belgrade club. Only one of their players, Nikola Simić, has made it to the all-star team of the league.
The young defender, born in Ub, is only 19 years old and has been consistently reliable in the black-and-white jersey this season. He played in 31 matches in the Serbian championship, scoring one goal, but mainly excelling in protecting the goal of Marko Milošević.
For this reason, the captains and coaches of the clubs in the Serbia Superliga decided to honor him by including him in the all-star team of the Serbian championship. In addition to Simić, Mirko Milikić from Železničar Pančevo was also selected.
There has been speculation for a while that Simić could leave the club, with rumors swirling during the winter transfer window. However, after this recognition, interest in the young defender might rise.
