The Hunt for Attackers

Partizan are not playing around this transfer window. The black and whites have set their sights on Samed Baždar from Zaragoza and cast a line toward Kwaku Karikari of Horsens. But the story doesn't end there. The Belgrade giants are aggressively pursuing a third striker, a move that aligns perfectly with their summer strategy. According to reports, the club is keen to sign another product of their own youth academy: Vanja Vlahović.

The "Spontaneous" Meeting

General director Danko Lazović recently met with the 22-year-old in a Vračar café. The encounter was described as "spontaneous," though the presence of agents familiar with both the Serbian and Italian markets suggests careful planning. Vlahović, currently with Atalanta, spent last season on loan at Spezia. Despite previous interest last summer, no concrete agreement exists yet. The situation hinges entirely on Atalanta's plans. Vlahović is under contract until summer 2028 and already holds offers, including a top bid from Austria. Until Atalanta clarifies his status, Partizan must wait.

A Strategic Shift

Vlahović offers a different profile than Baždar or Karikari. Capable of playing left wing or as a second striker, he adds tactical flexibility. Partizan have shifted their recruitment strategy, moving away from aging veterans to younger, academy-proven talents. Alongside Vlahović, the club targets Milan Aleksić, who is close to returning, and Bogdan Mirčević. The squad is already strengthening: Ibrahim Zubairu returns from Çorum, and Aleksa Zeković joins from Feyenoord. With the addition of Partizan Belgrade fans expecting more, the race for Karikari and Dušan Žagar continues. The summer of change is underway.
