The footballers of Železničar from Pančev have achieved a historic milestone, securing a place in the European qualifiers for the UEFA Conference League next season.

As an unseeded team, Železničar will begin their qualifiers from the second round. The task ahead is formidable, as the team will face some of the best teams in European football.

The draw for the first and second rounds of the Conference League qualifiers is set for June 16th and 17th. In the second round, 88 teams will compete, with 44 teams being seeded. Železničar is among the unseeded teams.

Potential opponents include Panathinaikos (Greece), AEK Larnaca (Cyprus), Rijeka (Croatia), Helsinki (Finland), Zrinjski (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Bran (Norway), Spartak Trnava (Slovakia), Vaduz (Liechtenstein), and Tobol (Kazakhstan).

The UEFA will create subgroups before the draw, but it is unclear where Železničar will fall in this structure.

No matter the draw, Železničar faces a tough challenge. What do you think? How far can Pančev's team go in this year's Conference League qualifiers? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
