Panathinaikos has found their new coach, Jeikum Nestorou, and will announce him once the final details with Rafa Benitez are resolved. The club has already agreed with Nestorou, a 38-year-old Danish coach who previously worked as an assistant at Copenhagen, where he later became the head coach. Nestorou led Copenhagen to two Danish Superliga titles in the 2022-2023 and 2024-2025 seasons. This year, Copenhagen finished 7th in the league and lost the Danish Cup final to Midtjylland.
