Final Game of the Season

Osijek and Slaven Belupo will face off on Friday at 16:00 at the Opus Arena in the last game of the Croatian First League (HNL) season. Osijek, the home team, is ending a disappointing season in the penultimate position.

The match can be followed on the MAXSport 1 program. Osijek and Slaven Belupo will measure their strengths in the final game of the HNL season, with both teams having different motivations for the duel at Opus Arena.

Osijek's Challenges

Osijek's manager, Tomislav Radotić, aims to conclude the season with a victory, but his task is made difficult by a lengthy list of injured and absent players. Without Malenica, Karačić, Čoline, Matković, Šopov, Mejica, Toure, Jelenić, and the suspended Mikolčić, the choice of players is significantly reduced.

"This is the last match of a season that has been disappointing for all of us. I hope we can play a good game and achieve a positive result to conclude the season in the right way," Radotić said.

Slaven Belupo's Goals

Slaven Belupo arrives with a clear goal. The Koprivnica team is chasing the fifth position after a modest spring season in which they missed the chance for a European spot.

"We are aware of how important the points against Osijek are. We will do everything to return with a victory, and it feels better to conclude the season in fifth place rather than eighth. The motivation is high," said Mario Gregurina.
