Olympiakos Aims to End 13-Year Title Drought in EuroLeague Final Four

Greek Team Olympiakos Competes in EuroLeague Final Four

Olympiakos, the Greek team based in Athens, will participate in the EuroLeague Final Four from May 22-24, aiming to end a 13-year championship drought. They will face Fenerbahçe Beko in their first game.

This is Olympiakos's 15th time and 5th consecutive appearance in the Final Four. They have won the cup in 1997, 2012, and 2013. The Greek team's last victory was in the 2012-13 season, and they have lost three finals in the past 11 years.

Olympiakos has again topped the regular season league standings with 26 wins and 12 losses. In the playoffs, they defeated Monaco 3-0 to secure their place in the Final Four once more.

Two standout players on the squad are Sasha Vezenkov and Tyler Dorsey. Vezenkov, the team's leading scorer, averaged 19.2 points per game this season. Dorsey, an American player who once played for Fenerbahçe Beko, contributed significantly with a 16.2 point average.
