Mendilibar's Cool Response

Spanish coach Jose Luis Mendilibar has made it clear that he is not particularly eager for the continued presence of Iranian striker Taremi at Olympiacos. Despite Taremi's relatively productive season, Mendilibar has expressed dissatisfaction with the player's contributions.

With the departure of Betancur and the sale of Kostoulas, Taremi was left with El Kaaby and Jarmtsov. Although Taremi and Jarmtsov faced difficulties, they found a way to communicate. However, after the arrival of the Iranian striker, the chemistry was lost again. Taremi's performance did not meet the expectations set by the Spanish coach, particularly during the period when El Kaaby was absent.

Now it is said that Taremi's agent is already recommending him to other teams. Mendilibar has shown no urgency about retaining Taremi. If Taremi leaves and Jarmtsov returns, it won't significantly change things for the coach. The club might look for another replacement, whether it's Betancur returning from loan or another player.
