While Harry Kane ended the Bundesliga season with 36 goals, the title of "Player of the Season" went to his fellow Bayern Munich teammate, Michael Olise. The 24-year-old French winger scored 15 goals and provided 21 assists in 32 appearances during the campaign.

Olise garnered the most votes in a poll conducted among team captains, selected football experts, Bundesliga partners, and fans. The accolade was presented during the ceremony where Bayern Munich received their championship trophy.

Olise is simultaneously the fifth top goalscorer in the Bundesliga, tied with teammate Luis Díaz, and the most productive provider in the league. Last year, the former Crystal Palace player was named the "Newcomer of the 2024/25 Season." He was also recognized as the best French player abroad earlier this week.

Olise played a crucial role in turning this Bayern squad into the most prolific attack in a single season in the top five leagues, scoring 122 goals from the first to the 34th round of the Bundesliga. This is an achievement that underscores Bayern's dominance this season.
