Olimpiakos is considered one of the favorites for winning the Euroleague Final Four taking place this weekend in Athens. Nikola Milutinov, the center of the red and white team, spoke to the media on the ground.

Expectations for the Final Four

Milutinov expressed the team's ambitions and the importance of the trophy:

- The entire organization has been waiting for this trophy for a long time. I hope that this year it will finally happen. We are all hungry for this success, especially because only two players have the Euroleague trophy. We all want this to happen, especially since it's being played in Athens. Last year, we weren't good enough, and we need to learn from those mistakes and show what we are capable of.

A Tribute to Duško Vujošević

Milutinov paid a deeply emotional tribute to Duško Vujošević, the late basketball coach:

- It's a tough moment for everyone, especially for us who went through everything with him. Only the players who went through his school can truly know what kind of person he was. We are all grateful to him because, in today's times, our players don't get many opportunities like we did back then. Without him, we wouldn't be here today, and perhaps I wouldn't be in the position to compete for the Euroleague trophy. The first day I met him, he asked me, "Do you want to listen to me?" Not knowing what it meant, I replied, "Of course." I had to listen to him and submit my entire life to it from the age of 17 to 21. He made sure I didn't deviate from the path. It's much easier now in those years. He was rough and tough on us, but he gave us the chance to be on a big stage from the ages of 17, 18, 19. A big blow to basketball, it's hard to accept.
