Neymar calmly listened as Ancelotti announced his selections in the presence of his girlfriend Bruna Biancardi and his family and friends. As soon as the former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain star's name was called, everyone in the room erupted in joy, with Bruna hugging Neymar as he broke down in tears. The 34-year-old then proceeded to hug and thank everyone individually.

In the video, Neymar conducted a brief call with Barcelona star Raphinha, sharing his happiness: "Rafa, thank you so much, brother. I appreciate you so much. I know how much you care for me. Thank you for everything. Let’s do it, let’s make it happen. Everything will be fine. We will win this." Neymar also called his father, repeating: "We made it, dad, we made it," adding, "I’m so relieved, I love you, I’m so happy, I will give you a hug tomorrow."

Lastly, Neymar addressed his video viewers: "It’s hard not to get emotional. Considering everything we’ve been through, and you’ve been there with me. Making it this far and being able to play in one more World Cup is incredible. These are tears of true happiness. I really want to thank every Brazilian who supported me, held their fingers up, and hoped I would be in the squad. It was truly special to feel this love from the fans. Now we are one. We have another World Cup to fight for. We will definitely give it our all to bring the trophy back to Brazil. I’m really so happy. I hope we can end it the best way possible, with a triumph."
