The NBA continues its tradition of international games in the upcoming 2027 season. Following the announcement that Denver and Indiana will play in Mexico City, it’s now known which two teams will participate in the well-known European matches.

The teams set to compete will be the New Orleans Pelicans and the San Antonio Spurs. The games will take place on January 14, 2027, at the "Akor Arena" in Paris, and on January 17, 2027, in Manchester.

This will be the 16th time an NBA team has played in France since 1991, and the sixth time a regular-season game has been held in Paris. In England, this will be the 20th game since 1993 and the second time Manchester has hosted the event.

“The opportunity to showcase the Pelicans and the city of New Orleans on such a big stage is incredible for our organization,” said Deputy President of Basketball Operations, Joe Dumars.

The San Antonio Spurs are equally thrilled to return to the Old Continent.

“It’s an honor to return to France and play our first game in England, knowing the support we have from fans across Europe,” said San Antonio’s Executive Director, Aaron Ford.

What’s interesting is that Europe will once again get to see the dazzling Viktor Vembani in action, and for the Pelicans, there will be the excellent Croatian player Karlo Matković.
