NATO's Eastern Flank Alert: Special Forces and Navy SEALs Mobilized

NATO has launched a comprehensive military exercise along the eastern flank of the Alliance, simulating the initial hours following an attack on an allied state. Approximately 3,000 special forces troops from various countries are participating in the drills, which span from the Baltic Sea to the Mediterranean Sea, including the Black Sea region. Among the forces involved are the elite American Navy SEALs.

The scenario of the exercise unfolded in Greece, north of Athens, where NATO received an alert regarding the incursion of foreign troops into an allied territory. Until a potential political decision to activate Article 5, special forces were dispatched to intervene.
